More Facebook, More Cry

For months, I've been despondent about Facebook. I have 10  friends there. Bitchin' cool friends. But 10? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE IT HUGE?

Then, like today, as in just after one a.m., when normal people sleep and I troll the interwebs, I realized I should thank the UNIVERSE that I escaped Facebook love. That's right, bitches. Facebook is evil:

A study at the University of Edinburgh Business School has found that the more groups of people in someone’s Facebook friends, the greater potential for stress... Stress arises when a user presents a version of themself on Facebook that is unacceptable to some of their online “friends,” such as posts displaying behavior such as swearing, recklessness, drinking and smoking.

...posts displaying behavior such as swearing, recklessness, drinking and smoking... Holy shit, right? I feel like I just dodged a bullet.

I'd read the whole article, but it might stress me out too much. You can get all the details here: More Facebook friends means more stress, says report.

  1. ROFL!!! Luv totally dodged a bullet. Count your blessings. LOL!!

  2. No kidding! I'm sticking to Twitter... at least till the next study comes out...
